Our Values

At Framework, our mission is to create a safe space where all feel welcome. Lifting each other up as a community and ensuring that all guests feel safe, valued and supported. We do not tolerate any form of racism, discrimination, harassment or hate.

We believe in the power of community and lifting each other up. Throughout the year, FMWK works with different community partners, each quarter dedicated to an initiative that works hard to make our community a better place. Weekly community classes are offered at our studio in which 100% of profits are donated to charities that support Black History, Pride, Truth and Reconciliation and local charities chosen by our community members.

January to March: Black History

April to June: Pride

July to September: Truth & Reconciliation

October to December: Rotating local charities chosen by community members

We are committed to providing an inclusive, accessible and barrier-free environment for all persons with disabilities in a manner that is considerate of the respect and dignity of individuals with disabilities.

At Framework, we acknowledge that we move, practice and teach on the unceded and traditional land of the Algonquin Anishinabe, now known as Ottawa. This acknowledgement only becomes meaningful when combined with accountable relationships and informed actions. This acts only as a first step in honouring the unsurrendered land we operate on. We continue to honour the people, elders and Indigenous ancestors of this land.
